JetBlue Promotions

logo

I used to live in Seattle, and I can tell you, the best way to fly across this great land of ours is in the hands of JetBlue.  The seats are more comfortable, the snacks are better, and you can sometimes while away your flight by watching six hours of Project Runway on your own personal TV.

JetBlue is offerring a couple of new promotions.  I sincerely hope you won’t have to use the first one.  Under the JetBlue Promise Program, if you lose your job, Jet Blue will refund your fare.  The offer is good on tickets purchased February 1-June 1, 2009.

The second new promotion that they are running is more upbeat.  JetBlue is now offerring an 11% student discount on flights.  All you need to do is to get and International Student Identification Card or ISIC.  The card costs $22 and of course you actually have to be a full-time student to be elligible.  Not for nothing, the card will also get you an 11% discount on Amtrak and other discounts to more than 33,000 locations in 103 countries.

You might also get a kick out of their latest internet ad campaign, Welcome Bigwigs, “welcoming” corporate CEO’s who can no longer afford a private jet to the world of commercial travel.
